The “BAMMIES REUNION CONCERT” is a gathering of musicians and music fans who took part in the San Francisco Bay Area Music Awards~ “THE BAMMIES” during the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s! It will be held at the beautiful Regency Ballroom in San Francisco on Saturday night March 24, 2018. It is being produced by BAM MEDIA LLC and GOLDEN VOICE.
Confirmed to perform at this historic San Francisco concert is NEAL SCHON of JOURNEY and Mega Drummer NARADA MICHAEL WALDEN, SAMMY “THE RED ROCKER” HAGAR, PABLO CRUISE, JEFFERSON STARSHIPS’S TRIBUTE TO PAUL KANTNER, EDDIE MONEY and many BAMMIES SURPRISES! The Master of Ceremonies for the “BAMMIES REUNION CONCERT” is MAESTRO DICK BRIGHT who served as the BAMMIES MC and Music Director for many of the annual events.
The Bay Area has long had one of the most varied and stimulating music communities in the entire world and it our intent to celebrate those musicians who were honored back then and open the door to bring back the “BAMMIES” for the next generation in the near future.
On Friday, March 23 at 12:00 Noon BAM will also be inducting two new San Francisco Bay Area Music personalities into the distinguished “BAY AREA MUSIC AWARDS~ BAMMIES WALK OF FAME” that is in front of the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. They are Sammy “The Red Rocker” Hagar and DJ Steven Seaweed who recently retired after doing San Francisco Bay Area Radio for over 40 years!
