Yesterday was our family trip to Vegas! First stop – Las Vegas airport for a menu tasting at Sammys Beach Bar Grill. The new chef is killing it! The new food and rum drinks will be at all Sammy's Beach Bar Rum grills within a month. The food is better than ever! Wow! Really impressed. Fish tacos, fish and chips, quesadillas…the best Cubano on the planet!

Next stop was the Hard Rock to see my buddy Don Marrandino about a possible residency and some ideas about rum drinks on their menus – stayed tuned!

From there we went to the Cabo Wabo Cantina. Awesome tacos, cocktails and shots with some friends and fans from Detroit and Phoenix! A wonderful wonderful wonderful day. The only problem with going in your own restaurants and bars is everyone tries to buy you a drink…definitely time to get home.

Sammy is celebrating the reopening of Sammy's Island Bar & Grill in Roseville, Calif., with a special concert on Saturday, September 13 at the Vernon Street Town Square. He's reuniting with the surviving members of Montrose Bill Church and Denny Carmassi, as well as guest guitarist Vic Johnson and a few surprise guests!

The concert is happening in the Vernon Street Town Square, on the first anniversary of its grand opening. Entry for (2) two to the concert will be included in the purchase of a $75 Sammy's Island Bar & Grill restaurant gift card which go on sale Tuesday, August 19 at 10 a.m. (Check in at http://dev.sammyhagar.com/events/2014-09-13/vernon-street-town-square for ticket link details) 

Each gift card will cost $75.00 and will entitle the holder to two free admissions to the concert.  The gift card can also be redeemed for food and beverage at The Island after September 15, 2014. 

The Classic Rock Roll of Honour is coming to America for the first time this November 4th and Sammy has been enlisted for the host!

This event usually happens in London but for it's 10th anniversary they're bringing it to The Avalon in Hollywood.
