Hey Redheads, we've got a quick update on the rebuilding efforts down in Cabo. I've just received this photos from Jorge down at the Cantina. 

Slowly, but surely it's coming back! Cabo is strong and working harder than ever to rebuild the town we all love. 

The dedication and love for this community are a wonderful thing and when the Cantina is back in action, it will be better than ever before!

Redheads, am I the luckiest man in the world or what?? I get to celebrate my birthday today, and again on Saturday the 18th with you all in Las Vegas! And if anyone in Vegas or Roseville wants to celebrate with me today, the team at the Cantina and the Island have put together a special birthday drink — just ask for "Sammy's Special Birthday Cocktail!"   I'll be toasting you all at dinner after today's rehearsal for the Vegas bash!

When you visit the Cabo Wabo Cantina in Las Vegas or Sammy's Island Bar and Grill in Roseville, CA, ask for Sammy's "Special Birthday Cocktail". 

At the Cantina, the cocktail features:  Sammy's Beach Bar Rum combined with passion fruit, pineapple and cranberry juices; then a dash of Sprite and finished with a drizzle of Sammy's Red Head Rum.

At the Island, they will be preparing the cocktail with:  Sammy's Beach Bar Rum, Sammy's Red Head Rum, pineapple juice, a touch of Sprite and a secret ingredient. Everyone who orders one of the special Birthday cocktails at the Island will be entered into a drawing for a free autographed picture of Sammy.  And, don't forget…..It's Monday Night Football.  Come on down and cheer the 49ers to victory!!

Today on the release day of the new all-acoustic "Lite Roast" album we are also pleased to present the following article from our friends over at Ultimate Classic Rock.

For over 25 years our staff has been the greatest. Most of them have been there from the beginning. When I saw this picture today it brought tears to my eyes. Everyone of those people cleaned, scrubbed, mopped, and shoveled mud and dirt from the Cantina — it looks brand-new!

There are very few tourist in Cabo but our proud Dedicated employees have rolled up their sleeves and prepared the Cantina for The Cabo revival!!!!! I love the soul of the people of Los Cabos.

I wanna thank all the redheads for the party last nite at the island (especially with such short notice –sorry!) Vic and I really enjoyed ourselves!!! There's something really fulfilling as a singer about singing a whole show with just an acoustic guitar.  It scares me to death, but when I'm done it feel's really, really good.

Vic and I have been working a lot together since April of this year. And I feel last night at the island was the best showing we've had and certainly the longest acoustic show we've ever done!!! We loved it. All the way home in the car we were high-fiving laughing slapin each other on the back. (I love that guy.)

As much as I know y'all love ta rock as much as I do,there is something really special about the intimacy of an acoustic performance.
