Happy Holidays and a little something special!
Ho Ho Ho Redheads! Holiday Season Is Here!
I hope all Redheads have good family, food and music planned through New Years – I know I do! The last few weeks has been crazy with getting to be on The Simpsons, getting an amazing new dish into the restaurants through TNT's "On The Menu" with my buddy Emeril, and all of the Lite Roast mini-doc videos.
As I'm sure you know Sammy's Beach Bar Rum continues to grow (thanks to you!) and is now available in most states — this is the best Rum on the planet and I love drinkin' it straight up on the rocks and you've gotta check out the Holiday recipe below, it's outtasite!
I can't wait for you to hear the new acoustic version of "Personal Jesus" that Vic and I made just the other day in time to get to you for the holidays. At the end of the month I'll be heading to Cabo for a FREE show (Cabo style!) and also check in on the great work going on as they rebuild. Kari, the kids and I wish you all a happy holiday season.

Pour all ingredients in a shaker, fill ½ way with whipped cream, shake with ice, serve up in a martini glass. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Note – the drink will have a little more red tint than the picture here.

Get your own Personal Jesus for the Holidays!
Sammy and Vic have recorded and released a new stripped down acoustic version of "Personal Jesus"! Originally written by Depeche Mode and famously covered by Johnny Cash, Sammy first recorded a rockin' version with Neal Schon, Michael Anthony and Chad Smith for his previous release "Sammy Hagar & Friends".
"Personal Jesus" is now available for purchase in the iTunes store as part of an exclusive 12-song Bonus edition of Lite Roast. For those who have already purchased the album, you can grab just the new track on it's own.
Note: Canada Redheads will see the track released only as a separate single early next week.
Download the album here on iTunes.

Presenting “Brewing up Lite Roast”: Step Three – Drink Up!
This video premiered exclusively on Ultimate Classic Rock, click here for the full story.
“There’s so many more songs. I’d like to make a Volume 2.”
That’s how excited Sammy is about his new ‘Lite Roast‘ album, which finds him presenting songs from his catalog in a new acoustic light. As he points out in the latest of his behind-the-scenes videos from the making of the record, his wife Kari and his guitarist, Vic Johnson, feel the same way. “Once I did it, I started saying ‘Oh, what about this song?’ and Vic would say, ‘What about that song?’ Kari — at least twice a week. ‘You know what you need to do? You need to play ‘The Big Nail.’ You need to play this song and that song.’”
Calling the idea of doing another one “pretty inspiring,” Hagar added, “I will see how the fans like this. I love it, Vic’s in love with it, my kids even like it for a change … if the fans want another one, I’ll do another one sometime.” But, he promised, he isn’t going to stop rocking at full volume. “It’s not gonna interfere with going out and doing live shows, or putting together another new band, or a Chickenfoot record or tour, or whatever. It has nothing to do with any of that.”
Joking that he’d go “crazy” if he tried to put together an all-acoustic tour, Hagar stressed that it’s just another side of his ever-evolving journey. “I really wanted to add into the fabric of my whole career. Montrose, Van Halen, solo, the Wabos, HSAS, Chickenfoot, this new band which I like to call the Circle, with Jason Bonham and [Michael Anthony] and Vic — it just adds into that,” he argued, calling ‘Lite Roast’ “a nice little weave into the middle and the side over here.”

Sammy featured in ‘Car Crazy’ Holiday Edition of Marin Magazine
Sammy Hagar was featured along with two other car aficionados in Marin Magazine's "Car Crazy" article in this year's Holiday Edition.
The article, which you can read on Marin Magazine's website, details Sammy's love for Ferraris, the color red, and all things FAST!
In the interview he gives a breakdown of which car is notable for what: from his "scary death car" – the 599 Fiorano Ferrari – to his "rum runner", a 1956 Chevy station wagon that's been converted into a tiki-beach party on wheels.
