Oh Boy Redheads, we got another place to party!

The opening was killer, it was fun to see all the fans come out and the staff all did an amazing job! What a cast of great people working as chefs and wait staff.

If you're in the Memphis area taking the Elvis Graceland tour, don't forget to stop by and have some good eats and drinks. Help us support local food banks in the area as well as the Blues Hall of Fame! -Sammy

Friday Feb. 6th at 4pm Sammy will cut the ribbon for the newest addition to the Beach Bar and Grill Family with the Redrocker Bar and Grill at the Southland Park Gaming and Racing in West Memphis, AR!! Fans are encouraged to come out and be present for the ribbon cutting!

The Redrocker Bar and Grill features 150 lounge style seating, a full bar with 55 flat screen TV's, and an amazing selection of 20 draft beers. For more information check out the Redrocker Bar and Grill website!

Recently, Kari and I attended the Ambassadors of Hope and Oppourtunity (AHO) "Youth Connect" event which provides a variety of services, clothing, and food for homeless youth in Marin County. 

It's hard to believe in a community like Marin County there are homeless kids in the streets — it's a serious problem around the country that I'm just becoming aware of.

So, Kari and I, through the Hagar Family Foundation, are finding ways to help support these types of shelters. I want to thank Neal Schon for jumping right in there with me, with a match to our grant campaign!

A HUGE THANKS to all of you who reached out and showed your support for Ambassadors Of Hope And Opportunity last week. They surpassed their $20,000 goal for a grand total of $31,312!!! Woohoo!

Congratulations to Fantasy Rock N Roll Winner Dave D.! 

Dave has won the Rock N Roll Fantasy Camp Contest and will be attending the event of a lifetime!  

In Dave's submission he wrote that he is a life long fan with tons of inspriation from Sammy and Sammy made him "want to be a Rock Star". He said, "unfortunately not everyone can make it big, but man, what I wouldn't give to have one day of it."

Well, Dave, your one day is coming up soon!! 

The Rock N' Roll Fantasy Camp will be taking place February 12th – 15th (President's day weekend) at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The event will conclude with a live performance at the House of Blues!

Joining Sammy will be Pat Travers as well as the "Rock Star Counselors": Lita Ford (The Runaways), Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot), Vic Johnson (The Wabos), Alan White (yes), Sandy Gennaro (Pat Travers Band), Rodney O'Quinn (Pat Travers Band), Kirk McKim (Pat Travers Band), Teddy 'Zig-Zag' Andreadis (Guns N' Roses), and Eddie Kramer (Record Producer).

Kari and my recent adventures in Cabo have had some very moving moments! It has been so beautiful down here and the love of the community is the icing on the cake. 

Yesterday we joined a true hero, Bill Austin, and his fantastic team at the Starkey Foundation to bring hearing to hundreds of kids and adults! We worked aside the team, fitting patients with hearing aids and spreading the gift of hearing.

I broke out my guitar to play with some of the kids as they began to hear. Watching their faces and entire beings light up when they heard music for the first time was the coolest experience. I think it brought us nearly as much joy as it did them! Check out the video below from the Starkey Foundation.

Earlier in the weekend I made a surprise appearance at the Cantina , hopping on stage and playing with Cabo Uno to debut my newest song "No Worries" – it was a blast!!!

I also had the chance to roam around Cabo with Jorge for a bit to say "hi" and check in with the locals to see how they were doing after the events of the Hurricane Odile — everyone was in good spirits and happy to be getting back on their feet. It was something I haven't done in a while and it felt so nice to recieve that love from the locals in the community. We also did a bit of cooking and preparation for my new book, "Are We Having Fun Yet?" and afterwards we even got a chance to do a little recording for Listen Carefully on the beach in the perfect Cabo weather.

Finally, to top it all off, I got to play one of the wildest games of golf I've ever had in Cabo. I seriously cannot get over how crazy this was! No photoshop involved here folks, I actually managed to land this birdie (unintentionally) right on top of a CACTUS!!
