Surprise Cabo Show!
I've played hundreds of last minute shows at the Cantina but last night (Monday) I was so surprised at how many redheads were in town –it was packed!!
Vic and I expected to have a mellow acoustic set for a handful of people, but wow, what a response from those fans that just happened to be in town that night. Cabo Uno was at their best and having my right and left hand man Vic Johnson join us I'm still high from that show loved it, I'm sure everyone in that audience would agree there was a major buzz going on high energy electric like the old days at the Cabo Wabo tonight rivaled the birthday bash. And that's saying something!
Thank you to everyone that was there last night, I loved it and had a blast I'm sure I'll be paying tomorrow ha ha I meant we Will be paying tomorrow.

Cabo Dates are announced!
There has been a lot of speculation whether or not the annual birthday bash will be in Vegas or Cabo. Let me make it clear that Vegas was a temporary substitute due to the hurricane. Everything is back to normal with the same dates as always October 7, 9, 11, 13 and a few surprises in between.
Will let everyone know ASAP when tickets will go on sale.

Acoustic-4-A-Cure 2015
Friday we threw another epic Acoustic-4-A-Cure benefit concert at a killer SF venue – The Masonic Theatre. I wasn't sure we'd be able to top it in our 2nd year but man did we ever! When James and I envisioned this we knew what we didn't want it to be – another stuffy charity event that you walked away feeling bummed out about. It's awesome to see that we've created the opposite – it's as big a party for the artists on stage as it is for the fans! This year we had Jerry Cantrell, Adam Sandler, Linda Perry, Chad Smith, Aaron Hagar, and CALI HETFIELD joining our core usual suspects Monahan, Satriani, Vic Johnson, Hetfield and me – steppin out of our comfort zones and creating f'ing awesome collaborations and jamming to songs you'd never expect and will probably never see again. They got so epic this year that if we weren't on stage, we were out there cheering our friends on! I'm loving it big time. For those of you who missed it (mark your calendar for May 15, 2016) here are some of my favorite moments:
Adam Sandler was our surprise guest and he had the audience laughing with a comedic jam and then Monahan, Smith, Satriani and Sandler threw down on Aerosmith's Dream On and some Zep.
All hail the coolest chick in the world – Linda F'in Perry! She may be the strongest voice of the night! Wow has she got some pipes on her! She didn't even need a PA or microphone with those chops ha ha. (I wish I would've been able to sing so we could've taken "Somebody to love" to new heights with the two of us screamers at the top of our lungs! There's always next year!)
Check out videos and photos from the night over on the event page!
