Uncle Kracker, Kenny Chesney, and myself had a blast last night!!

I sang "Can't Drive 55", "I'll fall in love again", and "Finish what you started" and then Uncle Kracker came out and did some songs and I joined him for "Drift Away" – it was like going to church with the gospel!

Big giant ass awesome fun. Kenny's band is one of the greatest bands I've ever played with, they play exactly like the record. I felt like I was in the recording sessions doing those songs.

Those guys are great thanks to all of them! Thanks to Kenny! I love me some country once in a while. Tahoe Cabo Wabo was packed with redheads having a good time and enjoying the drink I invented for Kenny which is called "Sammy's Red White and Blue Chair".

Yo Redheads and Rumnuts, I've had so many emails to our website asking where to find my rum and for great drink recipes that I asked our webmaster to re-do our website to include some of this great stuff. (Thu Jul 16) I'm about to go onstage in Walker, MN for Moondance Jam…. at a bar on the venue property that holds only 500 people like the Cabo Wabo. The festival got rained out completely. Three day annual fesitval, 10 thousand campers, 30,000 people. Torrential rain, flooding everywhere, electronics underwater. A real mess, looked like Woodstock…

No one played on the big stage, but we wanted to play and so we're going to play. We noticed these lights coming out of a building at the back of the festival ground and say, "What's that?" Promoter explained it was their biggest bar on the property, and we say "Let's go, I want to play for those people".  Completely by the seat of our pants; the band gave them a fantastic rocking performance that they'll all remember. It was Cabo Wabo style all the way baby! Just like from the Cantina. 

It went F—— great & they sold out of rum!!!! There were thousands outside the venue was PACKED!! And rocking like the best of Cabo.  Big score.

I woke up this morning saw two people on horseback riding on the beach pass my house in Cabo I was a little groggy from a dinner party/tequila/rum/beer/fine wine party. Ouch. So I didn't look up because I didn't want to do any photographs or autographs this morning.

Next thing I hear "Sammy! Sammy! yo Sammy, it's Kenny!!" I look up and it's fucking Kenny Chesney and his beautiful girlfriend Mary who I've met a few times in Maui and in Cabo. I thought I was hallucinating next thing I know we're eating tacos, drinking margaritas, sitting around playing songs trying to write another one that lives up to "One sip and you'll surrender", riding ATVs up and down the beach, in & out of the ocean. I'm telling you, one of the most fun days i have had doing A whole Lotta nothing in a long time.

I'm about to hit the sack, go to bed early, and then enjoy my last day in Cabo before I head out to Illinois for the show on Friday with the Circle — can't wait. But as far as Kenny Chesney goes him and I are brothers from a different mother, cut from the same cloth, here's a couple candid flicks.
