Putting a few things into context…

Hey, Sammy here. Earlier in the week Rolling Stone ran a compilation piece from their Quarantine Q&A series. I did that interview a month and a half ago, things change very fast right now, so I wanted to clarify and put a few things into context now.

I did that interview May 8th when we were already several weeks into the stay-at-home, which my family and I took very seriously, and things were starting to look up, the curve was beginning flattening. So when I was asked if I’d be comfortable enough to get back onstage before a vaccine was out, I was cautiously optimistic. I said, “Yeah, not too soon. I want to make sure it’s not escalating. When it’s declining and seems to be going away.”

Big picture, it’s about getting back to work in a safe and responsible way and getting this economy rolling again. I will do my part. I stand by that. I employ 200 people directly and when we tour even more. Like everything today, it’s a watch and see over the next few months but we remain cautiously optimistic that with the right improvements and safety measures in place, we might be able to play shows this year. That said, as things change, for the better or worse, we will appropriately adjust our plans.

A Message to the Class of 2020

I was asked by my local hometown high school to film a message to the Class of 2020. I would like to share it with all 2020 graduates across the country. Congratulations!

Here’s to 5 years of “At Your Service”

The Circle's first release, "At Your Service" turns 5 this week! We know it’s not the same as being there with you live, but since we had to cancel our upcoming summer tour, we wanted to drop this live performance of "Dreams" for you to enjoy.

This band started as a live band and will always be a live band. We can’t wait to get back out and rock with you when it is safe to do so!

Summer 2020 Tour Canceled

The Sammy Hagar & The Circle Summer 2020 Tour has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We want our fans to know that ticket holders will be emailed directly from the ticketing company with their refund options, including a full refund, so please look out for their communication in the coming days.

We're disappointed that the current situation has forced us to make this call but our top priority is the health and safety of our entire CIRCLE which extends from the band to our touring family to the venue staff at every show and especially to our fans.

We can’t wait for the day when we’re safely on the other side of this and can hit the stage and celebrate with you again. Until then, stay safe and we’ll do our best to continue entertaining you with our Lockdown Sessions! Sending Love & Light – Sammy, Michael, Jason & Vic
