It’s your LAST CHANCE for tickets to this year’s Birthday Bash!

Mark your calendars for July 13th @ 10 AM PT as the first come, first serve public onsale begins! This will sell the inventory of tickets not purchased in the random drawing, plus a small quantity set aside. There are several hundred available across the three shows, but they will sell immediately so set your alarm and don’t be late!

1979 my solo career was just getting off the ground. we toured nonstop from 1976-1985. ‘Danger Zone’ was a pretty cool record. as a writer I was trying to stretch out, and coming from all over the place from a ripping “Love or Money” with Neal Schon on guitar, to the trippy, artsy-fartsy “Danger Zone” title track. I had Steve Perry and Neal Schon, who had just finished the Journey record, hanging around and singing and playing on this record. it was my last Capitol record before I signed with Geffen Records and had my first platinum solo record. Bill the electric Church on bass, gotta love that guy. wow how the time flies.

It's what you have all been waiting for! The 2022 Birthday Bash ticket registration for the random drawing opens for 5 days only starting MONDAY, MAY 30th at 10am PDT. Access to purchase tickets is decided by a random selection from those who register. The ticket limit is 2 per night, per household (billing address) and each show's drawing will be performed independently. This means a registration that requests tickets for all three nights has equal chance of being selected in each drawing. You will have until Friday, Jun 3rd at 7pm PT to enter. All registrations will be treated equally… as long as you enter before it closes!

After two years away due to Covid, this year it's back to Cabo! As Sammy says: "It's time to get back to the original style Birthday Bash with the ultimate party band, THE WABOS with Vic, Mona and Bro + a ton of guests! Beach all day, rock all night. No shirt, no shoes, no problem. Dress code strictly enforced. That's the way we live. Facedown in Cabo, kissin' the ground! Are we having any fun yet??"

Winners will be selected randomly and informed via email on: Tuesday, June 7th.

Those selected will be emailed ticket links to complete the purchase. NO TICKET TRANSFERS ARE ALLOWED. All submissions will be verified and multiple entries are subject to having all registrations cancelled. Valid photo ID of the purchaser will be required to be shown at the venue. Payment will need to be completed by Friday June 17th, otherwise tickets will be forfeited.

Any tickets not purchased by June 17th at 7pm PT will be returned into a final pool of tickets that will be available in a traditional first-come, first served, public on-sale date to be announced.

As in years past, there will be a limited number of Dinner Show Tickets available directly in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico at the Cabo Wabo Cantina. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis in Cabo.

Night 1 (Oct. 9th) Tickets will be made available at the cantina club area at 12pm noon on Saturday, October 8th.

Night 2 (Oct. 11th) Tickets will be made available at the cantina club area at 12pm noon on Monday, October 10th.

Night 3 (Oct. 13th) Tickets will be made available at the cantina club area at 12pm noon on Monday, October 12th.

At the time I was making this record after 10 years in Van Halen not writing solo material, instead co-writing with Eddie. I was like a volcano erupting with creativity once I decided there were no rules for the type of songs I was going to write for my first complete solo album in nearly a decade.

I didn’t have a band yet, so I called on some of my favorite musician friends and songwriters to come in and play and sing, even co-write songs like “Marching to Mars” with Mickey Hart. Denny Carmassi, my long time friend and drummer for Montrose, Heart, Whitesnake, played drums on everything but one song. Jesse Harms, my long time keyboard player, co-wrote a few songs and played keyboards on the record. Even Ronnie Montrose and Bill Church on “Leaving The Warmth of the Womb” we had a Montrose reunion.

I cared more about this record than any record I had made in my previous solo career. I paid for everything myself so that I wouldn’t have a record label breathing down my neck. I chose Mike Clink to produce it (Guns n’ Roses) had Slash, Huey Lewis, and Roy Rogers all on “Little White Lie,” the first single. I truly believe this is one of the best solo records, maybe the best of my career. So many great memories: having the freedom to create musically and lyrically something I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed, the solo creative process. I’m so proud of this record. it still sounds and holds up musically in my world today. enjoy and thank you all for the success.

When we were asked by the promoter to fill in for the Foo Fighters at the Beale Street Music Festival, my first reaction was 'No fucking way!' We discussed it as a band, & we came up with 'Why not! Let's just go play music and you're at a big ass Circle party for those people, just do what we do!' Then with Dave Grohl's blessings we decided to do a broken down version of one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite bands. It felt appropriate. No rehearsal, After all this is rock 'n' roll and thats what it's all about. Enjoy. – Sammy
