What a party! This year was truly like no other. Mona could not come down early so the ‘Other Half’ rocked the house for two nights. Thanks Mikey! Then I got very sick and had to move a night back to the 12th. So sorry to those Redheads who couldn’t stay to use their tickets. Speaking of that, it blew my mind how many virgins were in the house, hello new ticketing system! There seemed to be a significant number of fans in attendance who had never been able to get in before this year. And they were a wild crowd to say the least. Welcome to the Bash! I was still not really back for the third night, I felt like hell but played anyway – I was delirious but had a blast. I exited the stage by going through the crowd so you know I was insane by the end of the show. Four nights and we only repeated a few songs, that’s the way the Wabos roll in Cabo. And how about the Fan Cam? I watched for a minute after the show and there was some crazy shit going on. Look for that on RR.com soon. Next year it’s your turn. The off night we previewed the new movie ‘Be There Once, Go There Twice’ and everyone tells me the fans loved it. That will be out before Xmas.

Every year somehow seems to be better than the last. Playing with Chickenfoot for the Cantina’s Birthday was a blast, but nothing compares to the Bash itself. We have big plans for next year…..will you still need me, will you still come and see me when I’m 64?

If you have tickets for the Birthday Bash on the 13th, check this out. We are installing a ‘Fan Cam’ on the patio as you enter the Cantina that night. This camera will be set to capture all the crazy action that goes down during the party and will be streaming live on RedRocker.com for four hours that night. We push record at 9:30 EST (6:30 PST) so come on by and and show all the viewers back at home how we do it in Cabo.

It was 1973 and I was on my first national tour. Montrose was a helluva band but then so was Aerosmith. I will never forget when we played Cobo Hall in Detroit that summer. They called it Rock City and we certainly did our part to make that the truth. Now it’s four decades later, it’s the Wabos doing Rock Candy not Montrose, but some things never change, I’m still back stage with my man Steven Tyler, and we are still havin’ a great time together. I want to say it here and now, Steven is one of the greatest front men of all time.

We just did our last gig of the tour in Cincinnati and it was fantastic. Brad Whitford from The A-Smiths joined us onstage for Mas Tequila. I’m serious, I love that guy. He was on the side of the stage for our set every single night. Sorry to see the end of this road but it’s that time again. What time is it? C’mon now, It’s Chickenfoot time!! Chad, Mike and Jojo together again. Indio, Tahoe, hello? And then it’s not too long before the Bash. I hope you got tickets. See you there…

Will Call in Cabo…..
This is how the system will work, on each show day, we will have a will call table set up in the Cantina at 2pm. You will need to bring your Redrocker receipt with order number as well as a photo ID matching the reservation name along with your guest (NO EXCEPTIONS). We will have a computer available to verify any questionable purchases, so realize that any issues will need to be verified by our Paypal account….Once verified, the person whose name the reservation is under and their guest will receive their wristband for that day’s show. All wristbands will be placed on you and your guest, no loose wristbands will be given away. Remember tickets are non transferable. If it’s your Birthday, you can now bring a guest:

Sammy really wants to celebrate Libra’s this year, so now you and a guest get in on your birthday….An extra birthday gift to you from Sammy. If your birthday on either October 8,9,11, or 13th. Simply show up to the Cantina will call table after 2pm that day with your government issued ID (Drivers License or passport) and your guest and you and your guest will receive an entry bracelet for that day’s show. Happy Birthday!!!

Dinner Shows
Dinner show tickets will be $90 per person
Dinner show tickets will be sold at the Cantina, first come first serve.
Dinner tickets will be sold at noon on the following dates:
October 7th for the Shows on the 8th and 9th
October 10th for the Shows on the 11th and 13th
2 tickets per person, Security will be added to those in line so we will not allow anyone to hold places in line for others, there are 150 dinner tickets available per show. Dinner Tickets are non transferable.

Please note that these will be the ONLY tickets available and no additional tickets will be given away day of show!

Redheads
What a great summer it’s been, and it’s only the beginning of August! Lots of fun from my town, St. Louis, to Moondance in Walker, Minnesota, to the Orange County Fair, Oh and don’t forget all those Aerosmith shows, lots of Redheads in the house! The Wabos are killin’ it everywhere. It’s all been really good.

And then we played outside LaCrosse, Wisconsin at Fort McCoy for the U.S.Army, about ten thousand of the loudest people I have ever heard. But that isn’t the whole story. That night I gave the bleachers on stage to the Army base for the troops who will be shipping out soon. When they marched on stage it was one of the best moments in my career. What a scene. The ‘at ease” order was given and they started to cheer, well my fur went up and I couldn’t wait to get to that stage. They rocked so hard behind me, I was truly inspired. Check out the pictures of them and one happy singer. Just more proof, I am the luckiest man in the world.
