I can’t believe last night – you Redheads are some of the most fun people on the planet! Thank you so much, Kari & I had one of the best times ever!

And to everyone who I met who made the trek from out of state — wow, I was really knocked out! Let’s do it again!

ps: how about that Ape? We’ll definitely be seeing more of them in the future!

Here’s my first batch of Sammy’s Sea Salt from the beach in front of my house in Cabo! I’m making this exclusively for the margaritas at the Cabo Wabo down here! Damn it’s some salty salt — a little goes a long way but it’s flaky enough to disappear on the tongue. Unfortunately there ain’t enough to go around, but it’s fun to make — just using a cookie sheet and 1/2″ of sea water at a time!

Hi Redheads — I’m down in Cabo and wanted to send an update to you all and share a few photos. Andrew Zimmern from Travel Channel’s Bizarre Foods was in town so we both hopped up on stage and he added some energy and vocals to sing Mas Tequila and a wild jam on Roadhouse Blues. Check out the photos – he fits right in here in Cabo!

I also wanted to thank all the Redheads for all the excitement (and quickly sold out tix) to the Rum Bash we have going down next Tuesday back home in Mill Valley, CA – seeing your excitement has me pumped and I am ready to serve it up from behind the bar! You are gonna absolutely love APE (and their live tiki carving) and we’ve got all sorts of other special surprises in store for you. I can’t wait!

Tickets for the big Sammy's Beach Bar Rum Bash on April 24th are going on sale this weekend! We're taking the party to the beach at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, CA- a la Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello on steroids! Beach dress code will be strictly enforced and the Red Rocker himself will be serving cocktails behind the bar and twisting & shouting with the folks! The amazing psychedelic surf band APE will be performing and scupting a live Tiki carving which will be raffled off, as well as other door prizes, and of course plenty of Beach Bar Rum will be present! Tickets are LIMITED quantity and will go quickly!

Tickets will be onsale via REDROCKER.COM this Saturday April 14th at 10:00 AM PDT. Do to the limited space a strict 2 ticket limit will be enforced. There are 150 tickets available through Red Rocker and 100 through the venue on Sunday April 15th. Tickets are $22 plus service fees (RedRocker.com service fee will be $1, for a total of $23/ticket).

We are going to be doing ticketing for this event different than in the past. Please email your ticket request to [email protected]. Orders will be filled first come, first served until sold out. ORDERS RECEIVED BEFORE 10:00AM PDT APRIL 14th WILL BE IGNORED. You will be notified with a reply email confirming your request with further instructions on completing your ticket order. All ticket sales will be through Pay Pal.

You will need to print out and bring your confirmation email as well as ID that matches the name on the account. Your name will be on a will call list at the venue on the night of the show.
