Wow, what a great party in Vegas last night! Here it is 10am and I'm still laying in bed this morning – I almost bit off more than I could chew flying in from Orlando, filming two TV shows and partying with 250 Redheads. Luckily we had the rum to wash it down!

What I love about the beach rum parties we've been throwing is that I get a chance to mingle with the fans – lots of hugs and photos all around – it's kind of like a long, big meet & greet! It's different from when I play a concert and I can't spend time doing toasts and shots and getting our buzz on together. We're learning with you as we go how to throw these parties and I like it and want to do more! Unfortunately, we found out last minute that Nevada state law wouldn't let me mix and the serve the drinks so I had to oversee the bartenders making my custom rum concoctions. I wish they would have let us sell more tickets, but this was the first event at this brand new venue and they didn't know what capacity was. All in all, I am having a blast with you and it's a learning process how to throw these parties!

Looking forward to tonight at the VEGAS Rocks! Award Show – AXS TV will be broadcasting live and giving away my autographed guitar so tune in and check it out starting at 8pm PT (11pm ET).

PS: My favorite part of the night was seeing Mona play that upright bass that was bigger than her. It was a real hawaiian twist on the Wabos as we tore through "Fight For Your Right", "Red Voodoo", and "Cabowaboville" (hearing everyone sing along to that was a blast!)

Hi Redheads, Saturday I’m flying down to Vegas for the follow-up to our Norcal Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum Bash – this time in Vegas! But that’s not all – the folks over at AXS Live (used to be HDNet) are going to join me when the plane lands and broadcast LIVE as I make my way from the hotel to the airport and down to Club Vinyl @ The Hard Rock for the rum bash – come check it out — I’ll mix you all a drink live on TV!

But that ain’t all – the next day is the VEGAS Rocks! Awards show and AXS is going to be there again broadcasting the ceremony&event live from 8pm – 10:15pm PT (11pm – 1:15am ET) and they are going to be giving away a guitar that I’ll autograph for a lucky Redhead on Saturday!

The registration for Birthday Bash tickets was fast and furious (and happily free of any technical issues) and the random drawing has now completed!

Remember that you pick up your tickets at the club starting at 2pm the day of your show. Come early in the day to avoid long lines!

Note: If you are planning on being in Cabo during the shows anyways, the only other tickets that will be available are extremely limited dinner ticket packages that will be sold first come, first served only from the venue on the following dates:
Noon on October 6th for the Shows on the 7th and 9th
Noon on October 10th for the Shows on the 11th and 13th

Just back from Tahoe and a great benefit for Larry Ruvo’s “Keep Memory Alive” program for fighting Alzheimer’s – had a blast cooking with Emeril and his crew and jamming with the Atlantic City Sammy’s Beach Bar & Grill house band Lefty Lucy. Also in the house were other supporters Robin Wiliams, Ray Romano and others.
