Man, this is hand’s down the best birthday bash yet! Hangin’ at the beach with my family and friends, then my buddy Emeril cooked us an amazing dinner and we all headed to the Cabo Wabo where Kenny Chesney brought the whole band down and tore it up for 3 hours! The fans were so off the hook I just had to hit the stage and jam on a couple songs with Kenny — and we even got Emeril on stage with us to sing back up on “I Can’t Drive 55”.

I’m 65 today and RIGHT NOW – it doesn’t get much better than this! Gettin’ old ain’t so bad but growin up’s a bitch – ha! See ya next year – Sammy

LOS ANGELES – October 10 – Sammy Hagar knows ther’s only one way to rock AND throw a party and that’s by gathering his superstar celebrity friends to blow it out. For over twenty years he’s hosted his epic, star-studded Sammy’s Birthday Bash in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and this year’s 65th birthday celebration will see his Cabo Wabo Cantina rocking a little harder with one of the biggest names in country music, Kenny Chesney, on hand to perform a one-night only concert Friday, October 12.

Tickets for Kenny Chesney at Cabo Wabo Cantina go on sale on Wednesday, October 10th at 9am PT / 10am MT / 11am CT / 12pm ET at http://redrocker.inticketing.com/private (password:CABOKC). Limit two (2) tickets per person – all sales final (non-transferrable, need valid ID to pick-up tickets).

Chesney first rocked one of Hagar’s legendary birthday bashes in 2004, where his whole band and crew set the club record for performance time – 3 hours and 40 minutes. This year looks to be as rousing when Chesney again takes the stage. “I’m so fired up!!” said Chesney about hitting Cabo Wabo with Hagar, who is equally as galvanized about reuniting, saying “What an awesome birthday present‚ I can’t wait to rock with Kenny and the fans!” Fans lucky enough to score one of the limited 500 tickets can be sure Chesney and Hagar will deliver the high-octane performances for which they’re known.

The Kenny Chesney concert will also be an amazing added bonus for the VIP winners of the “Ultimate Birthday Celebration with Sammy Hagar & Emeril Lagasse,” a charity package auctioned off each November in New Orleans at Emeril Lagasse’s Carnivale du Vin fundraiser. On October 12, they’ll dine at Sammy’s beachfront home with a dinner prepared by Chef Lagasse, followed by VIP access to a private balcony at Cabo Wabo Cantina for Chesney’s concert.

In addition to Chesney and Lagasse other celebrity guests in attendance for the weekend’s events include Michael Anthony (Van Halen), Joe Satriani (Chickenfoot), Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver and Guns N’ Roses) and Denny Carmassi (Montrose).

The unforgettable four-day juggernaut that had fans of the Red Rocker running for the border, kicked off October 7 with Sammy and his band the Wabos, followed by shows on October 9, October 11 and on Hagar’s official birthday, October 13.

As expected, the limited number of returned tickets for each show sold out within a minute. Congratulations to those lucky few who scored a pair of tickets! We are happy we were able to get tickets that otherwise would have gone unused into the hands of other Redheads who will be there. We know this also means most people did not get tickets – we wish everyone could be there but there just isn't room! The only tickets now available are a limited number of dinner tickets at the venue – this is a reminder on how those work:

Dinner Shows

• Dinner show tickets are $90 per person
• Dinner show tickets are for the same show as the GA tickets but include dinner at the cantina.
• If you have GA tickets you cannot add the option of adding dinner.
• Dinner shows tickets sales will remain as in the past, they will be sold at the Cantina, first come first serve.
• Dinner tickets will be sold at noon on the following dates:
• October 6th for the Shows on the 7th and 9th
• October 10th for the Shows on the 11th and 13th
• 2 tickets per person, added security will be added to those in line to prevent anyone from holding places in line for friends.

A limited number of returned tickets will be available – we are sending emails tonight (Sunday Sep 30) with details to Redheads who did not get tickets in the first random drawing. If this is you, check your email Monday!

Update: Ticket codes are not to be traded or swapped. If you do, you are simply reducing your chances of getting tickets as there are very few released due to refunds and they will go in minutes already.

We want to make one thing clear: Ticket policy has always been that all sales are final. This “second chance” ticket concept is a special exception we are trying this year since we want all tickets to be in the hands of Redheads at the shows instead of sitting unclaimed from people who made their purchase before they knew they could attend. Those few Redheads who get a second chance ticket should consider themselves very lucky! There is no guarantee that we will allow for returns in the future.

Tickets remain non-transferrable and cannot be traded – you will need to show valid ID to pick up your wrist bands to gain entry to each show and can not transfer them to someone else.
