SAMMY HAGAR’S EIGHTH ANNUAL “ACOUSTIC-4-A-CURE” BENEFIT CONCERT MAY 13

I'm thrilled that we're back for an eighth year and back home at the Fillmore in San Francisco where it all began. Most of all I'm so grateful to my friends and partners who lend their unconditional support year after year. We're able to produce an arena level show at an intimate venue and keep the ticket prices affordable because these incredible artists donate their time and deliver unbelievable performances so all of the profits can go directly to an incredible cause. That's my kind of philanthropy!

Sammy Hagar and Bob Weir Announce Eighth Annual Benefit Show With Don Was, Nancy Wilson

Acoustic-4-A-Cure will return to the Fillmore in San Fransisco on May 13.

THE EIGHTH ANNUAL Acoustic-4-A-Cure benefit concert hosted by Sammy Hagar and Bob Weir will make its return to the Fillmore in San Francisco for the first time in three years on May 13.
 
Hagar and Weir lead the performance lineup for the third time, with additional appearances from Michael Anthony, Chris Isaak, Vic Johnson, Taj Mahal, Don Was, and Nancy Wilson. Acoustic-4-A-Cure 2023 will also feature special guests to be unveiled at a later time.

Happy 24th Anniversary, Red Voodoo!

Official music video for the anthemic "Mas Tequila" off 1999's "Red Voodoo", upscaled to 1080 to celebrate its 24th anniversary. 
 
"Red voodoo was kind of the beginning of it all for the lifestyle hard left turn I made leaving Van Halen. This song became the fastest number one song at rock radio at that time. Shooting this video during the birthday bash we just rolled the film 24/7 for about a week and of course the Redheads were having the time of their life knowing we were shooting a video for that album. That was one hell of a week in Cabo filming/playing/recording/photo shoots/the album cover – everything done that week. Fucking awesome, just looking at this video says it all" – Sammy

Happy Birthday Eddie Money

someone sent me this interview on Eddie's birthday no less, and it touched my heart. what he is saying is so true. we started our musical careers at the same time in the Bay Area. played the same clubs and local venues, then we lost contact with one another for nearly 30 years. and yes, it was good having friends like Eddie that could relate to nearly everything we have both had gone through the good and the bad. I miss Eddie's morning phone call or text with a new joke it would set the tone for the whole day. he was a soulful singer, songwriter, and friend happy birthday brother. ❤️ XOXO to the Money family. I know what I will be listening to today.
